I've decided there is no in between with the weather here. It's either blazing hot or pouring rain. Either way I'm soaking wet 24/7, whether it's from the sweat or the rain haha.
Things were busy this week!
We had zone conference. It's always so great to have zone conference, I feel the spirit so strong and realize how important all this really is.
After zone conference we taught the Botin Family. Their adorable 2 year old was going crazy as usual haha but I really see the desire of both of them to accept the gospel. They are actually former investigators, the reason they stopped before is because brother Botin was feeling pressure from his family to stop listening to the missionaries, because his family is so active in their church. We love their cute little family and we pray they will accept the gospel this time!
We saw Charmaine this week! Charmaine is our investigator who had both of her legs amputated. She had a stroke a few months ago so it's been a long time since we've seen her. She is truly amazing! She is half paralyzed from the stroke, so she has very little use of her body, but she had a big bright smile on her face anyway and has even died her hair purple haha! :) We can't at this time teach her any official sit down lessons, but we love her and serve her and pray for her all that we can!
Exchanges this week were awesome. I got to exchange with my trainer sister Esquillo! She is going home next week! It's crazy how fast time flies. She has taught me so much on my mission and I am so so grateful for her! She has really shown me the power of setting meaningful goals and then going out and achieving them. :) Our area president set us a mission goal of testifying to 30 new people every day, and Sister Esquillo and I were able to have 45! Grabe she inspires me haha :)
That's all for this week. Mahal ko kayo! Transfers are next week so I will be emailinginstead of :)
Ingat kayo palagi!
