And the rains came a tumbling down...

Magandang Umaga ang Family ko at mga Kaibigan ko!
Wow it's rained hard for like the past three days straight. Right now it's hot again and I actually saw the sun this morning but it's still definitely rainy season. We haven't had a real Baguio (typhoon) yet but....I have mixed feeling about this season. I think it's a lot of fun to work when it's pouring rain because it means the weather is cooled off...but there are so many people here who have to leave their homes because of flooding. Also our water has been shut off in our subd. since yesterday so that's a lot of fun...hooray for no showers ha! Don't worry we can go by some water when we buy groceries.
I am listening to Christmas songsright now in this computer shop...it's not even the "ber" months yet! (The christmas season in the Philippines).
We had STL exchanges the other week in Quirino. I got to work with sister Serynck, it's always an adventure when I get to work with another American haha. She says I'm really good at talking to people. Yay because that's an improvement haha! We ran into some flooding in the area we had planned to work in so we ended up doing a lot of tracting. An old Catholic lady let us in her house, and we taught a little about the plan of salvation so that was good :)
We had no investigators or recent converts at church, I hope it was just because of the heavy rains because wow it was hard to tell our gospel principles teacher that she had no one to teach...I don't want that to happen again next week!
Everyone tells me how beautiful my nose is haha. That's something I guess Filipinos look for in a person haha a beautiful "straight" nose.
Anyway the work is still good. We have a lot of investigators reading the BOM and praying but none of them ever want to come to church. We will be teaching a lot of lessons on Sabbath Day this week..
I really know that this is the Lord's work. I have so many weaknesses...as a Tagalog speaker, as a trainer, as a teacher...but I always feel that the Savior is there, making up for all that I lack. I know that's how it is for all of us. We don't have to be perfect! We just need to be trying our best, doing all that we can, getting better everyday.
I love you! Have a good week :)
