Magandang Umaga Family! Kumusta yong week po ninyo? Sobrang masaya ako na serve dito sa Antipolo!

It has been a crazy week with transfers. My new companion sister Esquillo came from Mindoro, so she didn't get here until Friday, which meant I had to work in a trio with my Kabahays, which meant less time working in our area. So at first our numbers were pretty low for the week. But we have been so busy these past few days, and we had ONE DAY MISSION with the ward which really helped our numbers get back up for the week:) The one day mission for this month was focused on FINDING! We had the members divide into groups, gave them all pass along cards, and had them go oyming around our area. I got to work with some of the young women in the ward, and they were so cute. We would go up to a person and they would give them literally every different pass along card or pamphlet we had and then bear their testimony so fast that you couldn't even understand what they were saying. It's okay. Now I know how Sister Dolino felt when working with me at first. ..it was also nice because they took us to their friends houses as well so yay for referrals!

During one day mission we also met a nanay outside her bahay making papaya soap and packaging it to sell. Service is the best for us as missionaries of course so we sat down right there and started helping her. She was soo nice and said we could come back and share with her and help her anytime, so yay!

I am so happy in this work. We are of course working through concerns with investigators, so bapdates are getting pushed back, but I really see the Lord's help in the work as we have been finding many new investigators every week. I am still learning, and working with Sister Esquillo is way different than with Sister Dolino, but I can see that there a lot of things that I can take from both of their training.

It's fun to hear about missionary week from the ward! This is such an important work so I'm excited the ward back home is involved!

Sige family, tapos na! I can't wait to see you on Mother's day :)

Mahal kita! Ingat Palagi!
